Traditionally flat roofs are covered with three-layers of felt, a
material that is not only messy and dangerous to install, but has a
number of reliability problems.
Felt requires several joints to cover most surfaces, it deteriorates
quickly during hot or cold weathers, often needing chippings to protect
it from the sun this can lead to blocked gutters and other defects
and problems.
An example of traditional felt roof past it's
sell-by date…!

Glass Fibre Roof System
A glass fibre (GRP) roof will last for least 30 years with no measurable
deterioration. Flat Roof Direct use only resins suitable for roofing.
New roofs are laid on new 18mm water proof & boil proof (WPB)
plywood or top quality exterior grade plywood which is fixed to underlying
joists with sufficient degree of fall to allow for good drainage.

The roof deck is then fitted with pre-cast edging and detail trims
before glass fibre lamination is carried out, the completed roof is
seamless, tough yet flexible allowing for structural movement with
superior weather proofing qualities that will with stand all weather
situations being stable under direct sunlight and ultraviolate light.
